(Additional Practice) Linear Graphs Plotting

Some of you have expressed that you want to have more practice on Graph Plotting (for the topic: Functions and Linear Graphs), and you are not able to find such practice questions in the Exam Prep Booklet.

A handout has been created with 4 more questions.
You may use this as a practice.
They are available in the GoogleSite, under the class page:

Scroll down to the folder:
Chap 08 Functions and Linear Graphs

Then look for the file:
8 Functions and Linear Graphs - Additional Practice (Plotting of Graphs).pdf

The answers will be up on Monday/ Tuesday.

Linearly Challenged

Task:
1. Name the equation of each line
2. Enter your answers in the form below

Linearly Challenged (II)

The object in "Linearly Challenged (I)" can be created at the online platform, DESMOS https://www.desmos.com/

Below is the boat created.

This is what we need to key in to create Line 3, Line 5 and Line 2 respectively. Note that you will have to indicate the domain/ range so that the desired length of line will be created.

Homework (to be submitted by 15 August 2013)
Create an object (made up of linear graphs) with n number of linear equations, 5 ≤ n ≤ 20.
You may attempt to colour the 'enclosed' region though it is not necessary.

Upon completion, do a screen capture (including the equation) and post it in the blog.
